Whiskas Simply hits TV screens with new ad

Mars Petcare is launching a new TV ad to support its latest food for cats, Whiskas Simply.
As part of a £4.5m marketing investment for Whiskas Simply in 2010, the new ad will champion the taste credentials of the range and will air in peak national time slots.
The 30-second advert talks to cat-owners in a light-hearted, personal tone, introducing us to Sarah and her pet Lucy.
Whiskas brand manage Nadia Follon, said: “This new campaign draws on the love cat-owners have for their pets. They want their cat to eat food that is good for them and really enjoy it, much as they enjoy their own food.
“Our consumer testing has shown a real excitement about the range, so we expect to see a significant boost in sales as the marketing support kicks in. Retailers should ensure they stock up now and offer their shoppers the quality and variety they’re looking for.”
