Top dog trainers Sarah Fisher and Marie Miller are taking their expertise on the road, supported by Xtra Dog, the European home of Spiffy Dog.

The road shows will take place at the three Robin Hood Country and Game Shows in Essex (3-4 July), Suffolk (9-10 October) and Nottinghamshire (16-17 October) plus Paws in the Park in Kent (11-12 September). The tour will include main ring demonstrations at all three events, with a side arena alongside the Xtra Dog tent for more hands-on one-to-one help. There will be demonstrations on how Tellington TTouch and Clicker Training can enhance the relationship and level of fun you can have with your own dog.

Sarah Fisher is currently on BBC television as part of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Searching for Toto and is the UK’s first Tellington TTouch Instructor. She has worked with a variety of animals for the past 15 years and owns and runs Tilley Farm which is home to the TTouch Training Programme in the UK. She has featured in many television programmes and appears regularly on This Morning (ITV1) as a family pet expert. Sarah has contributed articles for many national and international magazines.

Sarah also works with private clients and teaches workshops for the UK’s top shelters including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, the Blue Cross and the Dogs Trust.

Marie Miller is recognised as one of the UK’s leading dog trainers and behaviourists, Marie is also a Tellington TTouch Practitioner 3 and also holds an RSA Certificate in Counselling Skills and the Development of Learning. She has written for numerous dog and pet publications and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers' UK and a serving committee member. She is also actively involved in APDT Rally, here in the UK. Her consultancy Paws 'n' Learn has helped clients from celebrities to competitors to general pet owners all over the country. Marie is also technical consultant to Xtra Dog and often travels with the Xtra Dog team offering free dog advice to customers on their stands.

Sarah Fisher and Marie Miller joined forces to write "100 Ways to Train the Perfect Dog", and "100 Ways to Solve Your Dog's Problems"  is also becoming a best seller in its field.

The main ring demonstrations will include some of the stars of the books. You can meet them afterwards in the Xtra Dog tent. Bring your dog and 'have a go' with some fun activities, the dog pool, tricks, find the toy, treat, person in the Xtra Dog side ring.

Sarah and Marie will also be putting aside time during the day to help dogs who are overexcited or overwhelmed at the show. Drop by the Xtra Dog stand and for a small donation to their nominated charity will give you and your dog the benefit of their combined expertise.

"We are delighted to be working with Sarah and Marie" commented Alex Wilson, marketing director of Xtra Dog, "As an ethical dog business we are so conscious of only offering suitable products to dogs, and it a great thrill for us to be part of Sarah and Marie's Road Show. They are both such incredibly talented ladies and do so much for dogs and their happiness and wellbeing, I know that visitors to these shows will greatly benefit from these events."
