Assistant to the Chief Executive

OATA is a small but very active trade association representing the interests of its 750 business members at local, national, EU and global levels. We are now looking to recruit an assistant to our Chief Executive.
The successful candidate would be expected to undertake a wide variety of work including information gathering and collation; report writing; responding to government consultations; producing newsletters; assisting members with technical issues; and developing and delivering our extensive distance learning programmes.
This exciting role will include working on a diverse range of topics, which are key to the future success of the industry. This will include, but not be limited to, the regulations on fish health, international controls on the trade in endangered species, pet shop licensing, non-native species, fish treatments, waste electric goods recycling, animal welfare and animal transport regulations.
The salary offered (probably £20-30k pa) will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the successful candidate. Letters of application and CV (included current remuneration) should be addressed to:
