Wilsons Pet Food has launched its new service model, which will provide stockists, large and small, the opportunity to stock their very own range of raw frozen dog food in their own brand.
Having been at the forefront of UK-produced pet food for over 150 years, Wilsons produces its own branded range of nutritious and delicious cold pressed and raw frozen dog food, and now, by popular demand, have created a new dedicated business unit to provide stockists with a way to enhance their own brand by capitalising on new market trends and innovation.
Made in its purpose-built factory, this new range of product will continue to follow Wilsons’ ethos of using 100% natural ingredients and will be sourced from local produce, while also continuing to deliver great value for money. Recipes include a range of human-grade, singlesourced protein including chicken, lamb, and beef and turkey, which can come with or without offal.
Available in 1kg pouches, they are made with recycled and recyclable plastic, along with a resealable top and cardboard fold-over to include all nutritional information, along with the stockist’s own logo at no extra cost.
Head of sales, Dan Griffin, already has a long list of pre-orders from existing Wilsons stockists, he said: “In the pet food industry, I’m constantly amazed by the dedication and passion shown by independent pet shop owners and the care they take in sourcing only the best products for their customers. By offering no set-up fee and a minimum order of just 24kg, it enables independents to provide a quality product with their own name attached to support their current offering for their loyal customer base.”
