Winner of Forthglade’s POS competition announced

The owner of a pet shop in Bradford has been named winner of Forthglade’s nationwide POS competition.

The competition, which ran throughout April and May, was part of the company’s 50th birthday celebrations and to promote its new Devon-made birthday meal for dogs.

Over 30 pet shops were chosen for the finals, each judged on their use of Forthglade’s birthday POS, and eye-catching window designs or in-store displays.

Forthglade named Stef’s Pet Shop in Bradford as the national winner for its creative masterpiece, with the popular store set to receive £250-worth of Forthglade recipes.

Store owner Stef Peel said: “When we heard about the birthday pack POS competition the team couldn’t wait to get creative. We’re lucky as we have a fairly big store so can really make the most of the space for displays.

“The team had such fun bringing all the props to life, even baking a special cake and covering it in Forthglade treats. Customers have commented all month on how great they thought everything looked and were all keeping their fingers crossed for us to win the competition.

“The POS encouraged us to create this fantastic display, and while it has really helped increase the sales of the natural meals and treats, winning has just been the icing on the cake – no pun intended.”
