Growth in canine category fuels the creation of Gold Line Feeds

Gold Line Feeds, a new business within the animal feed manufacturing sector, has launched following a restructure of operations by Dodson & Horrell Ltd.

Gold Line Feeds will be dedicated to serving the canine and small animal market, and will continue to offer Autarky, Chudleys, Gusto and Trophy Pet Foods along with servicing customers with their private label offering. 

The Gold Line Feeds business has sales in excess of £22m in the last year and has plans for growth within the sector and to extend upon an 80-year pedigree of manufacturing high-quality animal feeds from their Northamptonshire mill.

Gold Line Feeds is built from strong foundations, growing by 20% in the last three years, and now produces over 2 million bags of dog food and over 150 thousand bags of rabbit food.

The creation of Gold Line Feeds will enable further growth and strengthening of the business to meet the needs of market, whilst retaining the expertise and market knowledge developed through the many years of operation from its manufacturing and operational base in Islip, Northamptonshire.

Gold Line Feeds will continue to manufacture feeds on their 300,000 square foot Old Furnace Site in Islip, Northamptonshire, and remain committed to employing the best people from the area to support across the business.
