Current editor of PPM Michael Hallam is leaving PPM after five years. Nathaniel Cureton, who has been part of the PPM team for a year, will step up to replace him.
Having been the editor of Your Dog Magazine for the past three years, too, Michael is not just leaving the pet trade but is leaving the publishing industry for a career change.
“I’m immensely proud of having been the editor of Pet Product Marketing,” said Michael. “Our aim has always been to be a resource for retailers, as well as bringing brands and buyers together – and the feedback from the trade is that we do a good job of that! I am pleased to have played my part helping PPM to make a difference.
“The pet industry is a brilliant industry. It’s a real community with lots of great people. I’ll genuinely miss being part of it but the time was right to take on a completely new challenge. I wish everyone in the pet trade the best and say a huge thank you to all my colleagues for making PPM such a great team to be a part of.”
A familiar face will step into the role as Nathaniel has been working on Pet Product Marketing for the past year and will now take the reins.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to progress the brand and am looking forward to getting going! Please reach out to me or connect with me on LinkedIn.”
