Dog lovers are gravitating to a new online schooling community, hosting a mix of challenges, expert advice and strong community presence.
Angela Day, the creator of Skool Dogs and canine rehab specialist, said: “I wanted to create a space where owners feel safe to ask anything, laugh a lot and learn without being judged.”
Having worked with everything from UK sporting champions to police dogs, she founded the community after increasing concerns about the wave of misinformation currently on the internet.
What began as a small group of confused dog owners, shifted into a cohort of people across the world blending humour, education and affectionate nonsense.

Skool Dogs has a range of features, not limited to advice sharing. Members are encouraged to share fun images and videos of dogs, mixing the practical and the social.
Angela’s work focuses heavily on helping owners with recognising small issues amongst their pets, something she sees many owners tend to struggle with.
She highlights the need for focus on subtle: slower recovery after exercise, stiffness getting out of bed, hesitation on stairs or in and out of the car, and a shift towards gentler play.
Expertise underpins Skool Dogs, even if the members don’t always realise, they’re getting professional guidance between the memes. “There’s so much noise out there about dog care and behaviour, and people are terrified of getting it wrong. Skool Dogs cuts through all that with good information wrapped in humour, community and kindness.” Angela said.
