A Southampton pet superstore has been crowned the 2022 Best Retailer of the Year at the national BizX Awards.

Healthy Pet Store based in Totton was named the Best Retailer of the Year partly as a result of its sales growth since launching in 2014, as well as its innovation, and outstanding customer service.
Broadcasting personality Clare Balding presented the trophy to Healthy Pet Store’s Managing Director Deborah Burrows at the awards held at the Farnborough Exhibition Centre.
The pet food and accessory retailer moved from a restrictive store during the height of Covid in 2020 into a former supermarket with more than 30 chest freezers of own-recipe frozen meals for cats and dogs as well as branded foods.
Since then Healthy Pet store has become one of the UK’s leading independent retailers of high quality food, frozen meals and unique pet accessories.
