Specialist Reptile care brand Arcadia Reptile will be releasing what they believe to be is the most important new product range in nearly two decades later in the coming weeks. To support such a vital new product range and to be as inclusive as possible for keepers, Arcadia Reptile are delighted to be able to spearhead the way and be the very first specialist pet brand to use British sign Language within their video based product marketing and support.
Arcadia Reptile Head of science and Innovation John Courteney-Smith says: "Reptile keepers exist within all walks of life, enjoying and benefitting from their own companion animals. For us to be able to include BSL into our media is simply the right thing to do.
"Hundreds of thousands of people have hearing limitations in the UK alone and with BSL being a core language, we passionately believe in their right to access information in this fantastic form of communication. The only thing that saddens me is that when I looked, I could find no other pet companies using sign language within their marketing and supportive media. We are therefore proud to be first and plan to provide access in BSL whenever and wherever we can.’
