Breeder's Choice Paper Cat Litter has been named Cat Litter of the Year at the 2026 Pet Product Marketing (PPM) Retailer Recommended Awards.
The award, voted for by pet retailers, recognises products that perform well in-store and deliver consistent results for both retailers and consumers. It also reinforces Breeder's Choice's position as the UK's number one paper cat litter at a key point in the brand's transition to a new global identity.
Although the packaging now carries the Breeder's Choice name, the company says the litter itself remains unchanged, with the same formulation, quality and performance that have helped establish it as a leading choice within the paper litter category.
Manufactured in the UK using 99% recycled paper, the litter is designed to offer high absorbency, natural odour control, low dust levels and lightweight handling, while remaining non-toxic for pets and households. The product is also biodegradable and compostable, reflecting increasing demand for more sustainable pet care products.
The brand says the move from Breeder Celect to Breeder's Choice has been carefully managed to minimise disruption for retailers, with familiar packaging helping shoppers recognise the product on shelf while maintaining continuity of supply.
