Manchester-based pet bedding and accessory specialists Scruffs® have recently partnered with Manchester Dogs Home to offer support with the charity’s rehoming efforts.
As part of an ongoing partnership, Scruffs® is offering the use of its state-of-the-art photographic studio and teams in Trafford to create additional stories and profiles for the dogs currently at the Dogs Home, in a bid to find their forever homes.
Scruffs® will provide awareness for the dogs currently at the Dogs Home, with monthly features across the brand’s website, social media channels, and other advertising material.
The first feature saw the lovely Snowflake visit the Scruffs® head office — Snowflake is a Cane Corso Cross (pictured above) and at the time of writing, had been with Manchester Dogs Home since the end of 2020.
In a post on the brand’s website, Scruffs® said: “Snowflake is a very active and playful girl who is very strong – she has also been learning to walk on a Halti. Snowflake has unfortunately been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and may require ongoing medical treatment and hydrotherapy.
As with all rescue dogs, they deserve a chance at finding their forever home. Sometimes they need a little extra help, so we invited Snowflake and the Manchester Dogs Home team into our studio for a photoshoot that will hopefully change her life forever. Scruffs® would love nothing more than to give Snowflake a new home and a new start.

Helping the rescue dogs is something that Scruffs are passionate about and have done before. In late-2016, Scruffs® ran a heart-warming campaign to help a homeless Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross find his forever home in time for Christmas. At the time, Harold had been with Manchester Dogs Home since the Spring of 2016, after being found on the streets.
The campaign was a massive success, generating thousands of comments and shares for Harold and Manchester Dogs Home. Following the campaign across social media, Harold was rehomed within three weeks and is now part of a loving family.

Scruffs® provides on-going support to several non-profit pet organisations, but this type of project enables us to really showcase the dogs which need a little bit of extra support to find their forever homes.”
