UK pet treat brand and PIF member PARK LiFE Pet has expanded its range with the launch of Dog Friendly Crisps, a roast chicken-flavoured snack designed specifically for dogs.

Founded by Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Richard Marles and his wife Libby, PARK LiFE says the grain-free crisps are made using sliced potatoes and hand-cooked in small batches. They contain no added salt, sugar, lactose or artificial additives.

The idea came from the couple’s Labrador, Penny, who would watch as they shared crisps at home, prompting them to develop a dog-friendly alternative that owners could offer their pets as part of the same occasion.

Richard Marles said: “People love sharing food with their dogs — it’s part of the bond. Dog Crisps let owners enjoy that premium moment without worrying about what’s actually in the bag.”

According to the company, the product is aimed at tapping into owners’ growing interest in treats that mirror familiar human foods while still being formulated specifically for pets.

Richard added: “We have always loved creating treats that feel fun, memorable and different. The idea for dog-friendly crisps came from real life with Penny, and we wanted to turn that little moment so many dog owners will recognise into something special for pets.”

The launch is the latest addition to PARK LiFE’s growing treat range following the brand’s appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den.
