The Natural Dog Expo has announced the first Raw & Fresh Awards, a new awards programme for the raw and fresh pet food sector.
The inaugural event will take place on 1 May 2027 at the St John’s Hotel in Solihull, recognising innovation, excellence and leadership across the growing natural pet nutrition market.
Award categories will celebrate achievements across manufacturing, retail and product development, including Raw Retailer of the Year, Raw Brand of the Year, Fresh Lightly Cooked Brand and an Industry Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominations will open in September, with entries judged by a panel including Daniel Everett of the Pet Industry Federation, pet industry podcaster, Clayton Payne, and Dr Vicki Adams, Chief Executive of the Animal Cancer Trust.
Organisers say the awards aim to celebrate the businesses and individuals helping to shape the future of raw and fresh pet nutrition, with the ceremony bringing together professionals from across the sector for an evening of networking and recognition.
