Each recipe contains 75% single source protein along with fibre-rich vegetables such as butternut squash and sweet potato with added botanicals, vitamins and minerals. With 87% of dog owners seeing their pet as part of the family, Forthglade reimagined family favourites with recipes including lamb shepherd’s pie and all protein is sourced from Britain, along with a medley of four fruits and vegetables per recipe providing balanced nutrition.
The grain free range offers tailored recipes to support dogs at each life-stage with puppy, adult and senior meals, each offering varied nutrition. Our grain-free puppy recipes are high in protein (75%) and tailor-made for high energy pups. Recipes include chondroitin and glucosamine to help growing joints and bones, prebiotic chicory root to support healthy digestion, and salmon oil, which is a great source of omega-3 and ideal for supporting puppies’ brain development; along with sweet potato, which is a high energy density vegetable, perfect for those bouncy puppies.
For senior dogs, Forthglade offers a lighter protein recipe (60%) to help keep your dog fitter for longer, with chondroitin and glucosamine to support healthy joints and bones, salmon oil, a great source of omega-3, to help maintain cognitive brain function and prebiotic chicory root to support healthy digestion; along with butternut squash which is a low energy density vegetable and antioxidant.
For those who prefer to tailor mealtimes, the ‘Just’ complementary wet food contains a range of premium proteins and is great as a tasty topper. The high protein recipes include 90% beef, duck or chicken, designed to mix with natural dry food or your choice of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Forthglade in partnership with the National Trust
In partnership with the National Trust, Forthglade has created a range of premium, dual-protein wet recipes and treats including duck & venison and salmon & herring. Combining nutrition and purpose, this year a minimum of £90,000 from the sales of this range goes towards supporting the important conservation work of the National Trust. In 2021, the National Trust in partnership with Forthglade launched the Dogs Welcome project. The initiative aims to improve access for our four-legged friends across the wonderful places the National Trust cares for. From the introduction of more dog-friendly trails and better access for dogs, to dog waste bins, washdown areas, agility courses and drinking stations, the National Trust are taking steps to ensure owners and their dogs feel welcome. New for 2026, dental sticks that do more
NEW for 2026 is Forthglade’s Calming Dental Sticks. Developed by vets, the grain free dental sticks are made using only natural ingredients with camomile, passionflower and valerian root to support calmness. The new dental sticks join Forthglade’s existing award-winning plant-based fresh breath dental sticks. Both recipes have a unique shape and texture that’s proven to help remove tartar and plaque and supports stronger teeth.
